[522] For whomever the eye base (cakkhāyatana) ceases, does the nose base (ghānāyatana) cease for that one?
For those with eye but without nose who are passing away, the eye base ceases, but the nose base does not cease for them. For those with eye and with nose who are passing away, the eye base ceases and the nose base ceases for them.
