[568] For whomever the form base (rūpāyatana) will not cease, will the mind base (manāyatana) … the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not cease for him?
For those of the final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are arising in the immaterial [plane] (arūpa), and for those who, having arisen in the immaterial [plane], will attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), as they are passing away — the form base will not cease for them, but it is not the case that the dhamma base will not cease for them. For those attaining final Nibbāna, both the form base will not cease for them and the dhamma base will not cease.
Or, for whomever the dhamma base will not cease, will the form base not cease for him?
Yes (āmantā).
