[595] For whomever, wherever, the nose base (ghānāyatana) ceases, has the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) of that one ceased there? Yes. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base has ceased, does the nose base of that one cease there? For all who are being reborn, and for those without the nose who are passing away, the dhamma base has ceased for them there, but the nose base does not cease for them there. For those possessed of the nose who are passing away, the dhamma base has ceased for them there and the nose base ceases.
