[625] For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) ceases, will the form base (rūpāyatana) cease for that one there?
For those attaining final Nibbāna in the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), the eye base ceases for them there, but the form base will not cease for them there. For the others, who possess eyes and are passing away, both the eye base ceases for them there and the form base will cease.
