[628] For whomever, wherever, the nose base (ghānāyatana) ceases, will the form base (rūpāyatana) cease for that one there?
For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), the nose base ceases for them there, but the form base will not cease for them there. For the others, possessed of the nose base, who are passing away, the nose base ceases for them there, and the form base will cease.
