Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 632

[632] For whomever, wherever, the mind base (manāyatanaṃ) ceases, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatanaṃ) cease for that one there? For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), the mind base ceases for them there, but the dhamma base will not cease for them there. For the others, endowed with mind, who are passing away, the mind base ceases for them there and the dhamma base will cease. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will cease, does the mind base cease for that one there? For all those who are arising, and for those without mind who are passing away, the dhamma base will cease for them there, but the mind base does not cease for them there. For those endowed with mind who are passing away, the dhamma base will cease for them there and the mind base ceases.
