[659] For whomever the form base (rūpāyatana) has ceased, will the mind base (manāyatana) … the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) cease for that one? For those who are attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbanta), the form base has ceased, but the dhamma base will not cease for them; for the others, the form base has ceased and the dhamma base will cease. Or, for whomever the dhamma base … ? Yes.
