[658] For whom the nose base (ghānāyatana) has ceased, will the mind base (manāyatana) … the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) cease for him? For those who are attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbantā), the nose base has ceased, but their dhamma base will not cease. For the others, both the nose base has ceased and the dhamma base will cease. Or rather, for whom the dhamma base … ? Yes (āmantā).
