Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 728

[728] For whomever the eye base (cakkhāyatana) will not arise, will the form base (rūpāyatana) not cease for him? For beings in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are arising into five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), and for those who, having arisen in the immaterial plane (arūpa), will attain final Nibbāna — as these are arising, the eye base will not arise for them, but it is not the case that the form base will not cease for them. For those who are attaining final Nibbāna in five-constituent existence, for beings in their final existence in the immaterial plane, and for those who, having arisen in the immaterial plane, will attain final Nibbāna — as these are passing away, both the eye base will not arise for them and the form base will not cease. Or rather, for whomever the form base will not cease, will the eye base not arise for him? Yes.
