[942] For whomever the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) ceases, has the truth of origin (samudayasacca) ceased for that one?
Yes.
Or, for whomever the truth of origin has ceased, does the truth of suffering cease for that one?
For all who are being reborn; [for those] in the course of existence (pavatti) at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of mind (citta); and [for those] in the immaterial [plane] (arūpa) at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the path (magga) and of fruition (phala) — for them the truth of origin has ceased, but the truth of suffering does not cease for them. For all who are passing away, and [for those] in the course of existence at the moment of the dissolution of mind — for them the truth of origin has ceased and the truth of suffering ceases.
