Or rather, for whom the mind faculty had arisen, does the life faculty arise for that one?
For all who are dying, and at the moment of the dissolution of mind (citta) in the course of existence (pavatti), the mind faculty had arisen for them, yet the life faculty does not arise for them. For all who are being reborn, and at the moment of the arising of mind in the course of existence, both the mind faculty had arisen for them and the life faculty arises.
