[1062] For whomever, wherever, the life faculty (jīvitindriya) arises, has the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arisen for that one there?
For those being reborn in the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa) and those being reborn among the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), the life faculty arises for them there, but the mind faculty has not arisen for them there. For the others being reborn into the four-constituent (catuvokāra) or five-constituent (pañcavokāra) [existence], and at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of mind (citta) in the course of existence (pavatti), the life faculty arises for them there and the mind faculty has arisen.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the mind faculty has arisen, does the life faculty arise for that one there?
For those passing away from the four-constituent or five-constituent [existence], and at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of mind in the course of existence, the mind faculty has arisen for them there, but the life faculty does not arise for them there. For those being reborn into the four-constituent or five-constituent [existence], and at the moment of arising of mind in the course of existence, the mind faculty has arisen for them there and the life faculty arises.
