[1084] For whom the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) arises, will the faith faculty (saddhindriya) … the wisdom faculty (paññindriya), the mind faculty (manindriya) arise for him?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), the eye faculty arises for them, but the mind faculty will not arise for them. For the others possessed of the eye who are being reborn, the eye faculty arises for them and the mind faculty will arise.
Or rather, for whom the mind faculty will arise, does the eye faculty arise for him?
For all who are passing away and for those without the eye who are being reborn, the mind faculty will arise for them, but the eye faculty does not arise for them. For those possessed of the eye who are being reborn, the mind faculty will arise for them and the eye faculty arises.
