[109] For whomever, wherever, wholesome (kusala) phenomena (dhammā) do not arise, do unwholesome (akusala) phenomena not arise for that one there?
At the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of unwholesome phenomena, wholesome phenomena do not arise for them there, but it is not the case that unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them there. For all (beings) at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the mind (citta), at the moment of arising of a mind dissociated (vippayutta) from the wholesome and dissociated from the unwholesome, and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): for them there, wholesome phenomena do not arise, and unwholesome phenomena do not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena do not arise, do wholesome phenomena not arise for that one there?
At the moment of arising of wholesome phenomena, unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them there, but it is not the case that wholesome phenomena do not arise for them there. For all (beings) at the moment of dissolution of the mind, at the moment of arising of a mind dissociated from the unwholesome and dissociated from the wholesome, and for non-percipient beings: for them there, unwholesome phenomena do not arise, and wholesome phenomena do not arise.
