[160] For whomever, wherever, wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) do not arise, is it the case that for that one, there, indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) did not previously arise?
For all (beings) at the moment of the dissolution of mind (citta) and at the moment of the arising of a mind dissociated from the wholesome (kusala-vippayutta-citta), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) — for those, there, wholesome phenomena do not arise, but it is not the case that for them, there, indeterminate phenomena did not previously arise. For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa) — for those, there, wholesome phenomena do not arise, and indeterminate phenomena did not previously arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena did not previously arise, do wholesome phenomena not arise for that one, there?
Yes (āmantā).
