[161] For whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) do not arise, did indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) not arise for that one there?
For all beings at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅga-khaṇa) of mind (citta), at the moment of the arising (uppāda-khaṇa) of a mind dissociated from the unwholesome, and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them there, but it is not the case that indeterminate phenomena did not arise for them there. For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa): unwholesome phenomena do not arise for them there, and indeterminate phenomena did not arise for them there.
Or: for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena did not arise, do unwholesome phenomena not arise for that one there?
