[317] For whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) never arose, did indeterminate phenomena (abyākatā dhammā) never cease for that one there?
For beings of the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa) while the second mind (citta) is occurring, and for the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): unwholesome phenomena never arose for them there, but it is not the case that indeterminate phenomena never ceased for them there. For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes: both unwholesome phenomena never arose for them there and indeterminate phenomena never ceased.
Or else: for whomever, wherever, indeterminate phenomena never ceased, did unwholesome phenomena never arise for that one there?
