[375] For whomever, wherever, wholesome phenomena (kusalā dhammā) did not arise, will unwholesome phenomena (akusalā dhammā) not cease for that one, there?
For beings of the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa), while the second mind (citta) is occurring, wholesome phenomena did not arise for them there, but it is not the case that unwholesome phenomena will not cease for them there. For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), wholesome phenomena did not arise for them there, and unwholesome phenomena will not cease.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, unwholesome phenomena will not cease, did wholesome phenomena not arise for that one, there?
For those endowed with the highest path (aggamagga-samaṅgī), for Arahants, and for those who will obtain the highest path immediately after [the present] mind, unwholesome phenomena will not cease for them there, but it is not the case that wholesome phenomena did not arise for them there. For non-percipient beings, unwholesome phenomena will not cease for them there, and wholesome phenomena did not arise.
