[575] For whomever, wherever, the nose-faculty (ghānindriya) arises, does the mind-faculty (manindriya) arise for that one there? Yes. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind-faculty arises, does the nose-faculty arise for that one there? For those with mind (sacittaka) but without nose (aghānaka) who are being reborn, the mind-faculty arises for them there, but the nose-faculty does not arise for them there. For those with nose (saghānaka) who are being reborn, the mind-faculty arises and the nose-faculty arises for them there.
