[401] Mixed (saṃsaṭṭha) with an unwholesome (akusala) phenomenon (dhamma), an unwholesome phenomenon arises by not-root condition (na-hetupaccaya):
Delusion accompanied by doubt or accompanied by restlessness arises mixed with the aggregates accompanied by doubt or accompanied by restlessness.
Mixed with an indeterminate (abyākata) phenomenon, an indeterminate phenomenon arises by not-root condition:
Mixed with one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate that is resultant-indeterminate (vipākābyākata) or functional-indeterminate (kiriyābyākata), three aggregates arise; mixed with three aggregates, one aggregate; mixed with two aggregates, two aggregates. At the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), mixed with one resultant-indeterminate aggregate, three aggregates arise; mixed with three aggregates, one aggregate; mixed with two aggregates, two aggregates.
