[2053] Dependent on an internal phenomenon (dhamma) … not by faculty condition (na indriya-paccaya): [Matter] originated by nutriment … [matter] originated by temperature … as for the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), the material life faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya) [arises] dependent on the primary elements (mahābhūta).
