[2054] Dependent on an external phenomenon (bahiddhā dhamma) … not by faculty condition (na indriya-paccayā): external (bāhira) [matter] … [matter] originated from nutriment (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … [matter] originated from temperature (utusamuṭṭhāna) … for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), dependent on the primary elements (mahābhūta), the material life-faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya) [arises].
