[2077] An external phenomenon (bahiddhā dhamma) is a condition for an external phenomenon by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya).
Another person, having given a gift (dāna), virtue (sīla) …, the uposatha observance …, reviews it; he reviews what was formerly well practiced; having emerged from jhāna …
Noble ones (ariyā), having emerged from the path (magga), review the path; the fruition (phala) …; they review Nibbāna. Nibbāna is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū), for purification (vodāna), for the path, for the fruition, and for adverting (āvajjanā) by object condition.
Noble ones review the defilements (kilesa) that have been abandoned; the defilements that have been suppressed …; those formerly habitually indulged in …
Another person: the external eye …, the base (vatthu) …, the external aggregates (khandha) as impermanent …; grief (domanassa) arises.
With the divine eye, a form …; with the divine ear element, a sound …; with the knowledge of others' minds (cetopariyañāṇa), of one possessing an external mind (citta) …
The sphere of the infinity of space (ākāsānañcāyatana) is a condition for the sphere of the infinity of consciousness (viññāṇañcāyatana) by object condition; the sphere of nothingness (ākiñcaññāyatana) is a condition for the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception (nevasaññānāsaññāyatana) by object condition.
External aggregates are a condition for the knowledge of supernormal power (iddhividhañāṇa), for the knowledge of others' minds, and for adverting, by object condition.
