[26] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is without thought, with examination only (avitakka-vicāramatta), and a phenomenon that is without thought and without examination (avitakka-avicāra), there arises a phenomenon that is with thought and with examination (savitakka-savicāra), through object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya): at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on thought (vitakka) and the base (vatthu), aggregates (khandhā) that are with thought and with examination arise.
Dependent on a phenomenon that is without thought, with examination only, and a phenomenon that is without thought and without examination, there arises a phenomenon that is without thought, with examination only, through object condition: dependent on one aggregate that is without thought, with examination only, and on examination (vicāra), three aggregates arise; dependent on two aggregates and on examination, two aggregates arise. At the moment of rebirth-linking, dependent on one aggregate that is without thought, with examination only, and on examination, three aggregates arise; dependent on two aggregates and on examination, two aggregates arise. At the moment of rebirth-linking, dependent on one aggregate that is without thought, with examination only, and on the base, three aggregates arise; dependent on two aggregates and on the base, two aggregates arise.
