Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 27

[27] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is without thought-conception but with only discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta) and on a phenomenon that is without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), there arise phenomena (dhammā) that are without thought-conception but with only discursive thought and that are without thought-conception and without discursive thought, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya). At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), in dependence on one aggregate that is without thought-conception but with only discursive thought and on the base (vatthu), three aggregates and discursive thought (vicāra) arise; in dependence on two aggregates and the base, two aggregates and discursive thought arise.
