[39] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception (vitakka) and discursive thought (vicāra) and on a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought, phenomena with thought-conception and discursive thought, phenomena without thought-conception and with discursive thought only, and phenomena without thought-conception and without discursive thought … At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on one aggregate (khandha) with thought-conception and discursive thought and on the base (vatthu), three aggregates and thought-conception [arise]; dependent on two aggregates and on the base, two aggregates and thought-conception [arise]; dependent on the aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought and on the primary elements (mahābhūta), kamma-born materiality (kaṭattārūpa) [arises]. The aggregates and thought-conception [arise] dependent on the base by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya); kamma-born materiality [arises] dependent on the aggregates by dissociation condition.
