Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 25

[25] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and on a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), there arise phenomena with thought-conception and discursive thought and phenomena without thought-conception, with discursive thought only (avitakka-vicāramatta), by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya). At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), dependent on one aggregate (khandha) with thought-conception and discursive thought and on the base (vatthu), there arise three aggregates and thought-conception (vitakka); dependent on two aggregates and the base, there arise two aggregates and thought-conception.
