[276] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought and with examination (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition for a phenomenon without thought and with examination only (avitakka-vicāramatta) and for a phenomenon without thought and without examination (avitakka-avicāra) by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya): proximity-decisive-support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive support: Faith (saddhā) with thought and with examination … aspiration (patthanā) is a condition for faith without thought and with examination only, for virtue (sīla), for learning (suta), for generosity (cāga), for wisdom (paññā), and for examination, by decisive-support condition.
