[315] A phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta) is a condition, by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra): each preceding set of aggregates (khandhā) without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought is a condition, by repetition condition, for each succeeding discursive thought (vicāra).
