[683] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by development (bhāvanā) is a condition, by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), both for a phenomenon to be abandoned by development and for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing (dassana) nor by development. Conascent predominance (sahajātādhipati): the predominance to be abandoned by development [is a condition] for the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates (khandhā) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
