[72] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with thought and examination (savitakka-savicāra), a phenomenon without thought and with examination only (avitakka-vicāramatta), and a phenomenon without thought and without examination (avitakka-avicāra), there arises a phenomenon without thought and without examination, not by object condition (na ārammaṇapaccayā).
Dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) with thought and examination, and on thought (vitakka), and on the great elements (mahābhūta), there arises mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), kamma-born form (kaṭattā-rūpa).
