Paccanīyapaṭṭhāna

[90] … not by dissociation condition (na-vippayutta-paccaya): in the formless [plane] (arūpa), dependent on one aggregate (khandha) with thought-conception (vitakka) and discursive thought (vicāra), three aggregates [arise]; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates [arise]. Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception and discursive thought, a phenomenon without thought-conception but with discursive thought only arises, not by dissociation condition: in the formless [plane], dependent on the aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought, thought-conception [arises]. Dependent on a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought, a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought and a phenomenon without thought-conception but with discursive thought only arise, not by dissociation condition: in the formless [plane], dependent on one aggregate with thought-conception and discursive thought, three aggregates and thought-conception [arise]; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates and thought-conception [arise].
