[664] A phenomenon with thought (savitakka dhamma) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon with thought by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta).
A phenomenon without thought (avitakka dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon without thought by dissociation condition: conascent, prenascent (purejāta), postnascent.
A phenomenon without thought is a condition for a phenomenon with thought by dissociation condition: conascent, prenascent.
A phenomenon without thought is a condition for a phenomenon with thought and for a phenomenon without thought by dissociation condition: conascent, prenascent.
Conascent: At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), the base (vatthu) is a condition for thought (vitakka) and for the associated aggregates (khandhā) by dissociation condition.
