[830] A leading-out phenomenon (niyyāniko dhammo) is a condition for a leading-out phenomenon by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya):
Conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati): leading-out predominance is a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā) by predominance condition.
A leading-out phenomenon is a condition for a not-leading-out phenomenon (aniyyānika) by predominance condition: object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance.
Object-predominance: the noble ones (ariyā), having emerged from the path (magga), having made the path a weighty [object] (garuṃ katvā), review it.
Conascence-predominance: leading-out predominance is a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by predominance condition.
The root (mūlaṃ): leading-out predominance is a condition for the associated aggregates and for mind-originated forms by predominance condition.
A not-leading-out phenomenon is a condition for a not-leading-out phenomenon by predominance condition: object-predominance, conascence-predominance.
Object-predominance: a gift (dāna) … virtue (sīla) … having performed the uposatha observance (uposathakamma), having made that a weighty [object], one reviews it, relishes it, delights in it; having made that a weighty [object], lust (rāga) … view (diṭṭhi) arises. Things formerly well practiced … having emerged from jhāna … The noble ones, having made fruition (phala) a weighty [object], review it; having made Nibbāna a weighty [object], they review it. Nibbāna is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū), for cleansing (vodāna), for fruition, by predominance condition. The eye (cakkhu) … the base (vatthu) [i.e., the heart-base] … having made the not-leading-out aggregates a weighty [object], one relishes them, delights in them; having made that a weighty [object], lust arises, view arises.
