Vinayapiṭaka · Cūḷavagga (1) · Vol. 6 · Section 172

[172] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses eight factors, the act of reconciliation (paṭisāraṇīyakamma) should be revoked: he does not suspend the Uposatha (uposatha) of a bhikkhu of regular standing (pakatatta); he does not suspend the Pavāraṇā (pavāraṇā); he does not issue a directive (savacanīya); he does not initiate a charge (anuvāda); he does not have leave (okāsa) made; he does not accuse; he does not remind; and he does not set bhikkhus at odds with bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses these eight factors, the act of reconciliation should be revoked. The eighteen cases wherein the act of reconciliation should be revoked are finished.
