[204] Bhikkhus, if it wishes, the Saṅgha may carry out an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not seeing an offense (āpatti) against three further bhikkhus: one is failed in virtue with respect to higher virtue (adhisīla); one is failed in conduct with respect to higher conduct (ajjhācāra); one is failed in view with respect to higher view (atidiṭṭhi). Bhikkhus, if it wishes, the Saṅgha may carry out an act of suspension for not seeing an offense against these three bhikkhus.
