[307] Bhikkhus, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may impose an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not relinquishing an evil view upon three further bhikkhus: one is failed in virtue with respect to higher virtue (adhisīla); one is failed in conduct with respect to higher conduct (ajjhācāra); one is failed in view with respect to extreme view (atidiṭṭhi).
