[201] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu possesses three further factors, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may carry out against him an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not seeing an offense (āpatti): he is one who has failed in virtue with regard to higher virtue (adhisīla); he is one who has failed in conduct with regard to higher conduct (ajjhācāra); he is one who has failed in view with regard to higher view (atidiṭṭhi).
