[304] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu is possessed of three further factors, the Saṅgha, if it so wishes, may carry out against him an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not relinquishing an evil view: he is one failed in virtue with respect to higher virtue (adhisīla); he is one failed in conduct with respect to proper conduct (ajjhācāra); he is one failed in view with respect to higher view (atidiṭṭhi).
Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu is possessed of these three factors, the Saṅgha, if it so wishes, may carry out against him an act of suspension for not relinquishing an evil view.
