[305] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu is possessed of three further factors, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may carry out an act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) against him for not relinquishing an evil view (pāpikā diṭṭhi): he speaks dispraise of the Buddha; he speaks dispraise of the Dhamma; he speaks dispraise of the Saṅgha. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu is possessed of these three factors, the Saṅgha, if it wishes, may carry out an act of suspension against him for not relinquishing an evil view.
