[521] Bhikkhus, here again a bhikkhu commits several offences (āpatti) entailing initial and subsequent meetings of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa): some offences he remembers, some offences he does not remember. Those offences that he remembers, he conceals; those offences that he does not remember, he does not conceal. He, having disrobed and having been ordained again, those offences which formerly, remembering them, he concealed — those offences, later, remembering them, he does not conceal; and those offences which formerly, not remembering them, he did not conceal — those offences, later, remembering them, he conceals. Bhikkhus, having given that bhikkhu probation (parivāsa) for both the earlier and the later masses of offences according as they were concealed, mānatta should be given.
