[544] Bhikkhus, here again a bhikkhu, while undergoing probation (parivāsa), commits several saṅghādisesa offences (āpatti) in the interim. Some offences he remembers; some offences he does not remember. Those offences that he remembers, he conceals; those offences that he does not remember, he does not conceal. He disrobes and is later ordained again with the higher ordination (upasampadā). Those offences which formerly, having remembered them, he concealed — those offences he later, having remembered them, conceals; and those offences which formerly, not having remembered them, he did not conceal — those offences he later, having remembered them, conceals. That bhikkhu should be sent back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassanā), and he should be given combined probation (samodhāna-parivāsa) in respect of his offences according as they were concealed, together with the earlier offence.
