[471] What are the two suspensions of the Pātimokkha (pātimokkhaṭṭhapana) that are not in accordance with the Dhamma? One suspends the Pātimokkha on account of a groundless failure in virtue (sīlavipatti); one suspends the Pātimokkha on account of a groundless failure in conduct (ācāravipatti). These are the two suspensions of the Pātimokkha that are not in accordance with the Dhamma.
