Suttapiṭaka · Saṁyuttanikāya · Mahāvaggasaṁyutta · Vol. 19 · Section 414

[414] "And how, bhikkhus, does a bhikkhu accomplished in wise attention (yoniso manasikāra) develop the seven factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga) and make much of the seven factors of awakening? Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu develops the mindfulness factor of awakening, dependent on seclusion … he develops the equanimity factor of awakening, dependent on seclusion (viveka), dependent on dispassion (virāga), dependent on cessation, maturing in release (vossagga-pariṇāmiṃ). It is in this way, bhikkhus, that a bhikkhu accomplished in wise attention develops the seven factors of awakening and makes much of the seven factors of awakening."
