[223] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to insult, desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate one who is fully ordained, speaks of what is inferior by way of what is exalted: to one who is too tall, too short, too dark, or too fair, he says, "You are not too tall; you are not too short; you are not too dark; you are not too fair" — there is an offense of pācittiya for each utterance.
