In the fourth jhāna, in the form sphere (rūpāvacara), in the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), there the mental formation arises, but the bodily formation does not arise there. In the first jhāna, in the second jhāna, in the third jhāna, in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), there the mental formation arises and the bodily formation arises.
