Or rather, for whomever the mental formation arose, does the bodily formation arise for that one?
For all [beings] at the moment of the dissolution of the mind (citta), at the moment of the arising of the mind without in-and-out breathing (assāsapassāsā), for those who have attained cessation (nirodhasamāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): the mental formation arose for them, but the bodily formation does not arise for them. At the moment of the arising of in-and-out breathing, the mental formation arose for them and the bodily formation arises.
