[1095] For whomever the bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) does not arise, will the verbal formation (vacīsaṅkhāra) not arise for that one?
For all at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the mind (citta), and, apart from in-breaths and out-breaths (assāsapassāsā), at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the mind, for those who have attained cessation (nirodha), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): for these the bodily formation does not arise, but it is not the case that the verbal formation will not arise for them. For those endowed with the final mind (pacchimacitta), and for those immediately following whose mind a final mind without thought (vitakka) and without examination (vicāra) will arise: for these the bodily formation does not arise, and the verbal formation will not arise.
Or rather, for whomever the verbal formation will not arise, does the bodily formation not arise for that one?
