[1122] For whomever the bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) does not cease, does the mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) not cease for that one?
For those at the moment of dissolution of a mind (citta) apart from in-breaths and out-breaths, the bodily formation does not cease, but it is not the case that the mental formation does not cease for them. For all at the moment of arising of mind, for those who have attained cessation (nirodhasamāpanna), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) — for them the bodily formation does not cease, and the mental formation does not cease.
Or rather, for whomever the mental formation does not cease, does the bodily formation not cease for that one?
