Suddhasaṅkhāravāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 1162

[1162] For whomever the bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) does not cease, will that one's verbal formation (vacīsaṅkhāra) not cease? For all [beings] at the moment of the arising of mind (citta), and, apart from the in-and-out breaths (assāsa-passāsa), at the moment of the dissolution of mind; for those who have attained cessation (nirodhasamāpanna); and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) — their bodily formation does not cease, but it is not the case that their verbal formation will not cease. At the moment of the dissolution of the final mind (pacchimacitta) accompanied by applied thought (vitakka) and sustained thought (vicāra); for those endowed with a final mind without applied thought and sustained thought; and for those in whom, in immediate succession to whichever mind, the final mind without applied thought and sustained thought will arise — their bodily formation does not cease, and their verbal formation will not cease. Or else, for whomever the verbal formation will not cease, does that one's bodily formation not cease? Yes.
